Products and compatibility
Our products are third-party retro gaming hardware and are not manufactured, sponsored or endorsed by Nintendo, Sony, Sega or other original console brands unless expressly stated. Product images and colours may vary slightly by screen, production batch or supplier availability.
ButtonMash sells the hardware described on each product page. Commercial games, copyrighted ROM files and commercial game libraries are not included.
- Read the product page before ordering and contact us if hardware or accessory compatibility is important to your purchase.
- Use only software and media that you are legally entitled to install or use.
- Operating-system or open-source software needed to operate a device may be supplied subject to its applicable licence.
Prices and payment
Prices are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD). Stripe securely processes payments. Your card issuer may charge conversion or international transaction fees. Any destination-country import duties or taxes are separate unless checkout expressly states otherwise.
Orders
An order is submitted when payment is completed. We may contact you to verify details or cancel and refund an order if a product is unavailable, information is materially incorrect, fraud is suspected, delivery is prohibited or an obvious pricing error occurred.
- Check your email and delivery address before paying.
- Contact us immediately to request cancellation. Cancellation is not guaranteed after fulfilment begins.
- We may limit quantities where reasonably necessary.
Delivery and returns
The Shipping Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy form part of these terms. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed dates, but we will provide remedies required by law if we fail to supply an order within a reasonable time.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies consumer guarantees or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Our liability is not limited where doing so would be unlawful.
Website use and intellectual property
ButtonMash branding, original copy and site design may not be copied or commercially reused without permission. Do not misuse the site, interfere with its security, submit fraudulent orders or use it in breach of law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Courts and tribunals with jurisdiction in New South Wales may hear disputes, without limiting any rights you have under mandatory laws that apply where you live.
